This little boy is evolving into one who can make it through the day without a nap - though not very well yet. This Mama is hoping for a few more months of the afternoon respite (for us both!)

And for the record - he hasn't slept on the couch since he was three days old. His couch "naps" always last about 3 seconds. It's cute watching him get all set up for it though.
And now for something completely different: a destination that has lured this Mama for 6 years! Only recently made accessible though. This is the Brown St. footbridge (not formally named anything, as far as I know. But it's at the end of Brown St. And it's a footbridge to nowhere).

And you'd think it would be toddler-running-amok-heaven...

But this particular toddler has thing about structures he can see through - he doesn't like to walk over them. Hm...genius child, or bovine tendencies?

He is, however, perfectly content to kneel there all day and watch the trains.

Heck, me too! We even had the drivers waving at us. And the hat? He wears that all the time now. You'd think he'd like to be called a fireman...but no, he's a firetruck man.

And today, he was also a painter-helper-man.
