Ahhhh...it's so nice to go outside without the poofy coat! The winter boots have not made it into Sebastien's sartorial request list in a while, and every now and then, the mittens are optional.
We are having walks a'plenty these days. The Good Friday water main break down the street provided a no-brainer of a destination.

Strangely enough, the backhoe driver took one look at us, hopped out of the seat and said "He can get in now." Like we had an appointment with bliss, or something.

And then we did this for looooooong time, and said "Want go in backhoe again!" about a 875 times.
Thankfully, there are other things to do on walks too. The fireman is making sure the shadow isn't on fire.

We also walk uphill a lot, to see if there are any icebreakers in the harbour, or to wave at Nanabijou (Sleeping in Water, Mama!).
And then on this fine morning, we went to look out the window to see if we could see any bunnies hopping away, and lo and behold...

Eggs! In the plants! And in our shoes! And in our cereal bowls!

Full of cranberries, and cookies, and almonds, and maybe a tiny bit of chocolate.
Enough immediate caloric energy to allow (necessitate!) a long walk at the marina, complete with a Scotty visit and whole lot of running around and maybe a little bit of getting wet.

And after all that? Time to plow the last bit of snow off Mama's belly. Wouldn't want the baby getting cold, after all.
