We should patent this - it's a sport, and a dessert. Especially useful when your strawberries are of the frozen variety, and your hot chocolate is really, really hot.


It's also a good incentive for floor washing, after. We all had fun though, and now summer needs to come, and soon!, for our freezer supply of strawberries is dwindling.

Summer in Thunder Bay (and no doubt elsewhere) is more aptly known as construction season. Prior to being a Mama to a little boy, this was a tiresome attribute of the warm months. Now, it's free entertainment. And how generous of them to provide a picnic table practically in the midst of all of this machinatory glory.

And speaking of summer...we had spring for a day...but mostly we have...

This! Lots of snow and ice lurking in the back yard (and evidence of our haphazard fall cleanup, too. He's been asking for that rake for weeks!). And the lovely white blanket on April 20th was pretty, but not quite what we were hoping for.

So, indoor fun continues to be had. Thank goodness for the sometimes distraction of other little lads.
And for those of you wondering what the heck that blue rubber thing is around Sebastien's neck in every picture? That's his fireman coat. It's a bit skimpy, but he's pretty adamant about it.
