A Day in the Life
Of these boys:
Felix does a lot of lounging. If he were old enough, we'd be peeling him grapes.
As it is, we put him in cashmere sweater sets
And give him a bonanza of blocks to eat.
And when it's all over, we put on his birthday suit. It's not so bad to be a baby.
And the Sebster...he gets to play like a wildchild outside in his swanky new hat and corduroy sportscoat (that he's obsessed with, of course)
And he gets to play in the leaves with his "streetsweeper" (kind of looks like a fire truck to me...but I won't argue),
In a lovely park a stone's throw from the house (hooray for that)
On rainy days, we play paper dolls inside.
Which, in his case, looks more like paper diggers. No surprise there.
And when it's all over, there's cookiemaking with Papa to round out the day.
His life is pretty good, too.
