Fruit Flies like Bananas
And time flies like the wind. Have I told this one before?
This is what Sebbie looks like if he doesn't nap all day:

And this is what he looks like on a green chair with no cushion:
If we take the cushion off, he can climb onto the chair, which makes him happy, and he has somewhere soft to land when he leaps off the chair, which makes Mama happy. It's a win-win situation.

Learning to Share
No, he's not really learning to share. That would be ludicrous. He's only 13 months (and a day) old.
But he is sharing his apple with his kitty. That's pretty cute.
And he's buttering up Tom so that Tom will want to share his fries with Sebbie.
Marc was allowed to chew on one of Sebbie's blocks. Very generous of Sebbie. He usually likes to slobber on all his toys himself, but maybe the droolers have a certain kinship.
Mmmm. They're so cute.

A Week in the Life
Of a one-year-old...
We got him some new toys with some special toy-designated money from Grandmaman. We really like this toy.
He really likes the pasta bag. Actually, he does really like the toy, too, and he plays with it in very innovative ways. Nothing like what the box said to do...
And here's an old favourite, the flashlight. Also useful for finding lost items under the fridge, and probing the depths of Sebastien's brain.
Sebastien has a captive audience. Strangely enough, he didn't fling any onto the floor. I guess all those listening ears were too good to mess with.
In other news, 6 months after first climbing the stairs, Sebbie has decided it is fun to climb them, all the time. And we sometimes thwart him with this new babygate. He seems to think it's a TV - he spends all his time looking through it and petting it. Strange.
And yes, we do go outside sometimes - we just never bring the camera!

Happy New Year!
Ok, we know we're a bit behind here at SPD. Life has been hectic.
Grandmaman Gisele came to visit for New Year's, and we just pretended it was Christmas all over again.
And then Scotty came over with his Mom and Dad, and Gisele entertained him too.
So, Happy New Year all around. It's going to be busy - Papa is going back to work full-time, Mama is working part-time, Sebastien is going to daycare part-time...and turning into a toddler before our eyes.
