Ethical Dilemma

If we dated this entry appropriately, it would disappear into the archives of this blog instantly, because the pictures are so old. Long gone are the days when we would dump the camera daily on the computer. Bi-monthly is more like it. So here are a few glimpses of September...

In which we raked leaves. But mostly just rolled around in them.

And went to ride the pumpkin train with Scotty. Which is not remotely train-like at all, but the small folk weren't complaining. In fact, one of the small folk rode it three times, and was only lured off with the promise of food.

And here we are foraging for said food in the corn maze. It should called the corn stalk maze - ours were the only ears there.

And eventually, food! Aside from entertaining us with his antics at the table, he even eats some sometimes.

Stay tuned for more misadventures in the chronology of one boy.

Someone's in the Kitchen with Mama

Last week, Sebbie helped cook for the first time. He was the potato peel stirrer. Very important to stir them a lot before you compost them. It's even better if you put a few in your hair.

This week, we branched out in the domestic duty department. First, there was fridge cleaning.

Followed by dishwashing (all the containers of questionable leftovers that we emptied). The only trouble with toddler dish-duty is, you can't use really hot water.

And of course, after we dropped all those food bits on the floor, we had to sweep them up.

Maybe it's time to make him an apron...

And after all the work was done, there as a bit of time to relax with the crossword.

We admire the toddler work ethic. Though a nap would have been good too.

Green Hallowe'en

We didn't do the door-to-door thing. But his Mama did make him a costume, and he was very cute.

And happily, the shell now makes a great cushion.
